Rice flakes appalu
Rice flakes – 4 cups
Finely chopped coconut – 1/2cup
Preparation time – 5 minutes
Cooking time -15minutes
Take a bowl
Add 2 cups of water in it.
Then mix rice flakes in it.
Now add Jaggery, finely chopped coconut and semolina.
Then mix them thoroughly.
Now take another bowl and place it on the stove and heat oil in it.
Then spread the mixture in this bowl and fry it in oil .
We can use ghee also for frying.
There fore rice flakes appalu is ready.
Rice flakes is a very healthy food. It is so crispy and tasty. Everyone knows about normal appalu but this is a very special variety item which is made of rice flakes. We should be careful that rice flakes get softens completely. Take care while frying the mixture should fry deeply. Kids and adults will definitely love to have this.
