Alu palak

Ingredients:

Palak - 2 bunches

Potato - 1

Green Chili - 2

Butter - 1 spoon

Asafoetida - 1 Pinch

Cumin seeds - 1 Spoon

Salt - according to the taste

Preparation:

1. Wash palak thoroughly.

2. Then chop it finely and boil in water for some time.

3. Now separate the palak from water and wait until palak get cool.

4. Then grind Palak finely by using mixy.

5. Now place another bowl on the stove.

6. Boil potatoes in water .

7. After potatoes get boil then peel the skin of the potatoes and cut them into pieces.

8. Now make green chili paste using mixy.

9. Now place another bowl on the stove and add butter in it.

10. After butter melts add Asafoetida, Cumin seeds and green chili paste in it.

11. After some time, add potato pieces in this mixture.

12. After they completely gets cooked then add palak mixture in it.

13. Mix this mixture  and close the bowl with a lid.

14. When the potatoes in the palak get cook completely then only add salt in it.

15. Then off the flame.

16. Therefore, Alu Palak curry is ready.

17. Take the alu palak curry into serving bowl and garnish with Tomato and lemon slices.
