Lassi is a yogurt based drink popular in all parts of India. It is made using either salt or sugar. Sweet lassi is most popular in northern parts of the country. Lassi can keep you cool and is really tasty.  Here, I am presenting lassi in 4 simple types.

Dates lassi

Ingredients:
Dates - 25
Milk - 1/2 cup
Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
Curd - 1 cup

Method of preparation:
1. Remove seeds from dates.
2. Then take a mixer and put all the ingredients together and blend them nicely to get your dates lassi.

Banana lassi

Ingredients:
Any banana of small type - 3
Brown sugar - 4 big spoons
Lemon juice - 1 big spoon
Curd - 1.5 cups
Milk - 1/2 cup

Method of preparation:
1. Add brown sugar to banana and blend it well.
2. Add lemon juice, milk and curd to it and mix the contents using a blender.
3. Serve it in 4 glasses.
Note: Jaggery can also be used as the substitute of brown sugar.

Mango lassi - Type 1

Ingredients:
Well ripened mango cut into pieces - 1.5 cups
Milk - 1/2 cup
Curd - 1.5 cup
Sugar powdered - 6 tsp
Ice cubes - 4  to serve

Method of preparation:
1. Take all the contents except ice cubes in a mixer and blend it well for 2-3 minutes.
2. Pour the lassi to 4 glasses and put each ice cube on its top.

Mango lassi - Type 2

Ingredients:
Mango pulp - of 2 big mangoes
Sugar - 3 big spoons
Ice crushed - Half cup
Milk powder - 2 big spoons
Raisins - To garnish

Method of preparation:
1. Make a cup of drink from 2 big spoons of milk powder and use this milk drink to prepare sweet curd.
2. When curd is prepared, again add a big spoon sugar to it and mix the contents well.
3. Add the remaining 2 spoon sugar to the mango pulp and mix them well.
4. Take a serving glass and put crushed ice pieces to it. Then pour mango pulp at first.
5. Then add sweet curd and garnish it with raisins on the top. Serve chilled.
