In this article, I am giving you 3 sweet recipes - Quick pine apple delight, Easy fruits steamed pudding and Hotpotch sweet dessert.

Quick pine apple delight

Ingredients:

Pine apple cut into squared pieces (or tinned) - 845 gm
Condensed milk - 1 tin
Tinned cherry - 25
Apricot, seed removed - 12
White sesame seeds - A small spoon
Cashew nut broken into small pieces - 2 big spoons
Coconut scrapped - 3-4 table spoon
Black sesame seeds - 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 2 table spoons
Whipped fresh cream - 1 cup

Method of preparation:

1. Mix pine apple, condensed milk and cherry and keep it in refrigerator for cooling.
2. Soak apricot for half an hour and pressure cook it. Keep it in fridge for cooling.
3. Mix sesame seeds - black and white, cashew nuts and coconut together and heat it.
4. When it turns light brown, add coconut and stir continuously till it becomes dark brown colour. Put the flame off and spread it in a plate for cooling.
5. Take the contents out of refrigerator. Spread the pine apple mixture in a dish.
6. Take fresh cream a spoon each and pour in on the pine apple mixture. Then take apricot a spoon each and place it above the fresh cream.
7. Now, take the coconut mixture and put it around each ball and serve it.

Easy fruits steamed pudding

Ingredients:

Dates cut into small pieces - 1/2 cup
Raisins chopped - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 2.5 big spoons
Butter - 1 big spoon
Boiling water - 1/2 cup
Maida - 1 cup
Baking powder - A little
Baking soda - A little, as needed
Milk - 1 cup
Corn flour - 1 tea spoon
Egg - 1
Vanilla essence - 1/4 tsp
Salt - A pinch

Method of preparation:

1. Mix dates and raisins together in a vessel. Add boiling water, 1 big spoon sugar and butter to it and mix it well.
2. Add maida, baking powder and baking soda to it and mix well.
3. Cover it with a butter paper (never tie it) and steam cook for 1.5 hours. Serve it along with custard.
4. To prepare custard, boil milk first. Whip egg, corn flour powder and remaining sugar together. Add hot milk and whip well.
5. Boil water in a pan and immerse this mixture bowl in it. Stir continuously and let it cook for some time.
6. When spoon begins to stick, take it out. When it cools, add a pinch of salt and essence. Serve it along with the steamed pudding.

Hotpotch sweet dessert

Ingredients:

For base:
Biscuit (digestive) - 1/4 kg
Melted butter - 125 gm
Cashew nut pieces - 50 gm
For second layer:
Dry fruits (Fig, cooked apricot, almond etc) - 2 cups
Orange juice - Enough to soak the dry fruits
Orange skin, rum - A little
For third layer:
China grass - 10 gm
Condensed milk - 1 tin
Milk - 2 tin
Vanilla essence - 1-1.5 tspn
Caramalised nuts - To decorate

Method of preparation:

1. Mix the contents of the base together. Take a dish. Apply some butter and place these contents in it. Press it well and refrigerate.
2. Mix all the contents of dry fruits with orange juice, its skin and rum, except almonds.
3. Take the base out of fridge and spread this mixture on the top. Spread almonds only on its top.
4. Soak china grass by adding a little water. Place it in flame and melt it.
5. Mix condensed milk and milk together. Add china grass and vanilla essence.
6. Distill it and spread it on the top of dry fruits and set it again by placing it in refrigerator.
7. When it is well set, spread caramalised nuts on its top and serve.
