Every love to have something different to eat or to have the same thing in different manner. So here I am introducing you few powders which we can prepare very easily in our home itself. 

Chili powder:

Ingredients:

Chana gram– 1 cup

White gram – ½ glasses

Coriander seeds – ½ Glasses

Dry chili – 15

Tamarind – at the size of lemon

Garlic petals – 6

Zeera – 2 tea spoons

Preparation of Chili powder:

1.Fry chana gram and white gram separately, let them cool for some time.

2.Then make them into powder separately.

3.Now fry coriander seeds, Zeera and dry chili.

4.Then add garlic petals and tamarind in this, and then make them into powder.

5.Now mix this powder in the grams powder which we prepare before.6.Add salt according to taste in it.

7.Therefore, Chili powder is ready for having with idly or to mix in rice and have.

Pudeena powder:

Ingredients:

Pudeena – ½ bunches

White Gram – 2 tea spoons

Chana Gram – 2 tea spoons

Zeera – 2 tea spoon

Dry chili – 6

Tamarind – little

Preparation of Pudeena powder:

1.Wash pudeena leaves finely and then let them dry until there will be no wetness.

2.Then fry them finely.

3.Now fry white gram, chana gram, zeera,dry chili separately.

4.Then make them powder and keep aside by using mixy.

5.Then make powder of pudeena and tamarind by using mixy.

6.Then mix the gram powder and pundeena mixture.

7.Now add salt according to the taste.

8.Therefore, Pudeena powder is ready.

 

Kandipodi / Toordal powder:

Tool dal – 1 cup

Chana dal – 1 cup

Moong Dal – ½ Cup

White gram – ½ cup

Dry chili – 1/4Kg

Zeera – 5 spoons      

Salt – according to taste

Preparation of Kandipodi / toordal powder:

1.Fry all dal’s and grams separately.

2.After they get cool then make them into powder.

3.The powder must be bit rough

4.Now fry dry chili,and then make them into powder.

5.Now mix this powder in gram powder.

6.Then mix salt according to the taste.

7.Therefore, Kandipodi / toordal powder is ready.

 

Sesame powder:

Sesame seeds – 1cup

Dry chili – 4

Zeera – 2 spoons

Salt – according to taste.

Preparation of Sesame seeds:

1.Fry sesame seeds finely.

2.Fry zeera powder, dry chili and make them powder by using mixy.

3.Fry sesame seeds and make them also into powder.

4.Now mix both the powder and add salt according to taste.

5.Therefore, Sesame powder is ready.

Coconut powder:

Ingredients:

Coconut – 1

Chana dal – 2 tea spoon

Dry chili – 6

Coriander seeds – 2 tea spoon

Salt – according to the taste

Preparation of coconut powder:

1.Finely chop the coconut.

2.Then fry it finely.

3.Now fry chana dal, coriander seeds, dry chili finely and make them into powder.

4.Then grind the coconut chop using mixy.

5.Now mix the coconut mixture and the chana dal mixture by using mixy.

6.Then mix the salt according to the taste.

7.Therefore, coconut powder is ready.
