Ingredients:

Crabs 12 nos.(cleaned and cut)
Chilies 20 nos. 
Coriander seeds 2 tbsps. 
Cummin seeds 1 tsp. 
Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp. 
Pepper 1 tsp. 
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp. 
Garlic 6 flakes 
Tamarind Medium size 
Coconut 1 no. (grated) 
Onion 1 no. (chopped)
Salt to taste 

For Seasoning
Onion 1 no.(chopped) 
Coconut oil 2 tbsps. 

Directions to cook:


step1 First in a pan fry the chilies, grated coconut, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and pepper with little of oil.
step2 Now grind together the chilies, grated coconut, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, pepper, turmeric powder, garlic and tamarind to a fine paste.
step3 Saute the onions in oil till they turn slightly brown.
step4 Then add the crabs, mix well & keep for a while till they change colour.
step5 Next add the roasted ground masala and cook for 5 minutes.
step6 Now add the tamarind water and simmer on low heat.
step7 If you require gravy then add water or else keep it dry.
step8 Serve hot with rice.
