Electricity has been part and parcel of modern man. We cannot think of a day without electricity. The impact of electricity on our daily life is so great that we seldom notice its supply but lack of supply will call for our immediate attention since it entails all sorts of inconveniences.For example, we can't sit in the dining hall infront of food without fan's air. yes! our body and bind bonding with electric uses.
A daily hardly passes without electricity being used for a variety of purposes. There is hardly any house in our state where there is no electric connection. We burn bulbs and tube lights also work with electricity. Electronic devices such as television and computer also function only if there is power supply. Electricity is the base for our refreshment and knowledge gaining process.
Apart from the use in the homestead, electricity is an essential thing for various offices to work. Almost all offices today are computerized. No files move if there is power failure. Similar is the case of banks and publishing houses; telecommunication and other offices. Similarly, railway ticket booking offices, theatres, hospital etc. also come to a stand still, once there is a power failure. Factories, the so called back bone of our economy will not work in the absence ofelectricity. If power failure occurs, Big companies get power from using generators. But, small companies get affected and they may face heavy losses. In the modern times, trams and trains run with the help of electricity.
Thus the power of electricity is used variously and in various forms. The use of electricity is perhaps the greatest of contributions of modern science to man. So we should have responsible to save electricity as we could. Now a days we are affected by daily power-cutts. It is reason, production of power is low. So, we have to understand the fact and avoid to waste the power.
Using Tube lights instead of using round bulbs is one good action. Because it consumes more power than tube light. Additionally it is the one reason for increase the heat of earth. compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) are recommended for less cosuming of power and longer life of the product. People should avoid decoration lights for festivals and public functions. We have to use television, computer and Internet for only meaningful use. I think chatting in system is wastage of power and time. Because it is situation of alarm. Without electric power, we are become very weak. Yes! Electric power gives power to any action.
