December Christmas cards and stamps
Approximately 90 percent of the Dutch to send Christmas cards. Nowadays, more and more often chose the e-card. Still, a homemade card is most appreciated.
Research has shown that people send each other Christmas cards mostly attentive, and not because they would see it as a liability.
E-cards
Why do people have to make e-cards for Christmas to send? An important point is that it is very easy. As you surf the Internet and before you know you have found dozens of tickets available. The website features all sorts of categories, so there click on 'Christmas' and then displayed a variety of different maps. You can usually also customize it by adding some music, and I picked a 'personal' type text. Another important point is that you can choose from many free cards. A disadvantage of e-cards is that it is rather impersonal in comparison with real cards. You get real cards from the envelope and then hang them in your living room or put them somewhere on a table. E-cards read once and then actually not really looked back to.
December Stamps
The stamps have been since December 1987 for sale in the Netherlands. In the beginning they were only available as a booklet, now just as sheets. They are not sold separately. December this year cost € 0.34 stamps each. This rate is valid from 17 November 2009 to January 6, 2010, all Christmas and New Year cards. This applies to cards that are not heavier than 50 grams and the Netherlands sent. The standard rate is € 0.44 for other mail.
Where stamps are sold in December?
Today they are almost everywhere for sale in the month of December. Of course they are on sale at post offices. They are also the sites of post offices to find and you can just order online. Often they are also sold at various supermarkets and shops including the following:

* Attraction
What to do with the old seals in December?
Seals of December last year could also be used again. Since last year, although the rate was € 0.34, this should not be bijgeplakt. As the December holidays are over, the seals still be used. However, this means that bijgeplakt to be the rate currently applies. That is now € 0.44. Throw away the stamps is not immediately in the new year, but keep them until next year.

* Start early to write the Christmas cards, ensure they are completed on time so that each time the mailbox can. Before you know it you have no time for, because you're busy buying Christmas presents.
* The month of December is the busiest period for postmen, you want your Christmas cards before the holidays arrive, make sure you send them over time. (Half) a week after Christmas is ideal.
