Value of time
Time always runs. The mysterious wheel of time is always on the move. It cannot afford to stop even for a wink. Since time fleets, once time is lost, it is lost forever. It cannot be regained. Everything should go on at the right time. Otherwise, we will have confusion and chaos, instead of order. So, everything in this world should be according to a time schedule.
As a young boy, you too should realize the value of time. Time available with you is limited. So, every minute of your time counts. You just cannot waste your time. You cannot postpone doing your things. Be alert and do the right thing at the right time, work while you work, and play while you play. Make use of your time properly. Then you don’t have the need to regret.
As a student, you have to attend to your studies systematically. Naturally, every day is a busy day for you. You have to get up early so that you have enough time for your daily activities. You need time to do your homework and prepare for school. After school hours, you should spend sometime with your friends or play games. You know well the importance of a sound mind in a sound body.
Being a student, you should give utmost importance to your studies. Nothing should come in the way of your study. Everything else should be regarded as secondary. This is the age when you have an excellent opportunity to study and to and to increases your knowledge. This is age when you have to lay a strong foundation for your successful future. Instead, if you spend your time playful and waste it, you are undone. You will have to regret later. You will not have an opportunity once again to make up for the lost time. There will be no use feeling sorry then. So, never waste time in idleness, in gossip or in aimless wandering.
Make it a habit to do everything on time. Be punctual to school. Listen to your teacher attentively in the classroom. Be disciplined in your behavior. Learn to spend your leisure in the library. Come back after school hours. Refresh your self and sit down to study. Go to bed only after you finish your day’s study. If you make such a plan of study, and follow it scrupulously, you will surely be a success in any walk of life.
