Man is a social animal. He lives in society. Since he has to live in society, he has to following certain rules of behavior. He has to cultivate a particular pattern of behavior. He has to be gentle and kind. He has to be polite. He has to be a person of good manners.
Wherever we are, we need for be polite. If we want something, we should ask for it very politely. When we say please,’ few people can refuse us. When we say `thank you,’ others naturally feel happy. If we think we should refuse, say I am sorry…’ instead of a curt `no’. a person who is polite will make many friends. He will be liked and admired. There is something in him attracts others. People feel comfortable in his presence. They do not hesitate to ask for his help. It is not so with a person who is rude and impolite. His behavior turns others into his enemies. Instead of getting help, he may end up getting harm from them.
When God created man, he bestowed on him so many talents. Each person is full of talents. But he recognized and uses only very few of them. The rest remains unused. They are called latent talents.
W are responsible for every talent that God has given us. But we do not try to discover our talents and use them. We allow them to remain in a state of sleep. If we do not use our talent, we shall be called upon to give an account of what we have done with them.
Albert Einstein is one of the greatest scientists that the world has ever produced. His contribution to science is exceptionally great. Yet it is said he hardly used five percent of his talents. Imagine if he were to use all his talents, what would have been the outcome!
God is great. He has given us so many talents. It is out duty to discover them and put them to best use. We have to use our talents for good and the good of others.
Imagine a world without the inventions that the scientists have made over the years. There would not have been any paper to write. There would not have been any printing press to print. There would not have been railways, aero planes, motor vehicles, modern treatment facilities and so on. The scientists have made them by using their talents. The world has drawn immense benefits from their talents.
