As the summer is on its full swing everyone wants something to drink cool and make themselves comfortable so it is time to make some concentrates, sherbets and store them so that you can enjoy the freshness of fruits and their cool tangy taste.

Some Important steps which should be kept in mind while preparing these sherbets:

Always use good quality crystal clear sugar this enhance the taste and also protect your drink from spoil very fast. Use sulphur less sugar to make them.

Always use boiled or filtered water for making concentrates this give clearer appearance to transparent concentrates.

The fruits which have hard skin or hard to grind should be boiled first and than peel them neatly.

If you want to store the concentrates for longer periods than you have to you some preservatives like Potassium Metabisulphite (KMS) but while adding strict to the required quantity only excess of these concentrate can spoil your drink (1 kilogram of ready sherbet requires 1/2 tsp. essences) otherwise follow the recipe instructions.

Before adding the sherbet in bottle make sure that the bottle is sterilize properly always use glass bottle for this purpose.

You can also add essence to your syrup or concentrate to increase the aroma of the sherbet (add only ½ tsp essence in 1kg. of the ready syrup) where desired. It depends on your taste.

 

Use these tips while making Sherbets and keep them fresh for whole summer snd enjoy them when you need some cold to drink to fight with heat.
