Hand to hand= cooperative

No action is a sacred as helping others. No sin is greater than that which causes pain to others. All people are equal. All are the creation of God.

Trees give shade to all. Trees give fruits to all. The clouds bring rain.

They feed the fields. The cow gives milk. All of us drink milk.

The flower spreads its fragrance.

The earth gives food to all

All of them help one another. All of them help us. We should also help one another. You should help the poor and needy.

If you see a stone lying in the middle of the road, pick it up and put it aside. It might cause harm if somebody trips over it.

• If you see a banana peel on the road, throw it in the dustbin. Otherwise, someone may slip on it and have a nasty fall.

*Helping

• If an old person wants to cross the road, you can help him.
• Your friend cannot afford to buy a certain book. You can buy if for him.
• A child in your colony does not go to school because his father is poor. You can teach the child what you know.
• Lend a helping hand whenever you can.
• Lend a helping hand to birds and animals as well.

I have made a mistake

All of us make mistakes.

There is nothing wrong with that.

If you know that you have made a mistake, you feel sorry!

*You know that you will not make the same mistake again.

It is not easy to admit that you have made a mistake. It takes courage to face the truth. It takes courage to say sorry. But once you say it, it is easy. You feel so happy.

Don’t try to say lie

When you do not want to admit that you are wrong, you try to hide the mistake. In order to hide the mistake, you tell a lie. To hide that lie, you may have to tell many more lies. It is wrong to tell lies.

*Other people will be proud of you if you have the courage to admit a mistake.

a) Your teacher will be proud of you

b) Mummy and daddy will be proud

c) Your friends will be proud

Do not be afraid to admit the truth.

*When you admit that you have made a mistake, it means:-

• You are speaking the truth
• You are ready to correct your self
• You are courageous and honest
• You do not let others get angry with you
• You make others follow your example
