Little girls dancing on the floor were looking like fairies and I was very much enjoying their innocent expressions. It was  amazing to see the children making expressions like adults and not knowing of their real meanings. I wished I could go on the stage and hug those little angels. Tonight I was missing Ranu a lot.

Ranu was my six year old daughter who was studying in the boarding school. I had to send her to the boarding because there was none at home to take care of her. My only companion who once promised to be with me during my whole life time had not kept her words. She had gone to heaven two years back. She suffered from malignancy. Neela, my wife.................I was missing her too.

Tears began rolling down my cheeks and my friend, Sachin had noticed it. Soon we left the school where were invited as guests. I couldn't go back to my flat that day. I came along with Sachin to his home. Yes, Sachin had the home....not house... a sweet wife, two children...they all lived together.

In the morning, I was quite stable but still missing my little daughter, Ranu. I decided to meet Ranu today. When I reached the school, Ranu was in her class. I kept waiting for her in the canteen near school. As soon as her class was over, I was informed by the peon that now I could come and meet her.

My little baby dressed in red skirt and white blouse was looking like a little fairy, she was touching my cheeks with her tiny hands and was feeling like been in heaven.

Now I had decided to come to boarding every fortnight rather than once in two months,to meet Ranu. Earning money was very important but the company of my daughter was like a divine blessing. I needed the both.
