Workplace tension also known as job stress is a problem which was caused due to problems in the workplace which affects the individual in terms of his performance in his job and also the overall well being of his body and his mind and if it continuous the end result would be drastic and it will be difficult to lead a normal balanced life. You should choose a job which you love the most so that ,logically you don't have the feeling of working as you love your job. On the other hand a person who takes a job for his survival has no other option rather than making himself into a slave and  in this process he was subjeted to stress. The key thing to happiness is to find out the job that one is capable of doing. If someone forces you to do a job which you are not willing to do , then it is a condition and not a profession. 

CAUSES OF WORKPLACE STRESS

Workers everywhere are living with fear and anxiety due to the problems they are facing in their work environment which was caused by several factors. Job insecurity, which is the main cause for workplace stress was faced by workers all around the world due to the fluctuating economic conditions. The second major cause for workplace tension is the high level of expectations on an individual which puts unhealthy pressures on the worker. The third main cause for workplace tension is ego and conflict with the co-workers of the organization ,which is the most dangerous among the three. There are many sources of stress in our lives but the main source of stress is the workplace. But in the current scenario , employees and employers understand the impact of stress and started various effective strategies to combat stress.

ACCEPT THE WARNING SIGNALS

Recognizing the warning signs of stress is the most difficult and important one in the process of eliminating workplace burnout.  If you notice the lack of energy and lack of passion towards your job then you should recognize that you are under workplace stress. Excessive stress at workplace not only affects your  job performance ,it can also cause problems physically as well as mentally. Some of the symptoms of work stress are depression , anger ,loss of mental concentration and the list goes on. AVOID CONFLICT IN YOUR WORKPLACE

Workplace conflict occurs due to personality clashes or due to conflict over business ideas and decisions. To avoid workplace conflict your approach should be positive and if any conflict occurs you should address it directly with the person involved rather than approaching the third person. Don't show any negative reaction and give credit to co-workers if situation arises. Think wisely before doing anything if the mistake is in your side just accept it and don't try to confront with your co-worker. Good humour is another essential character that one should possess since it was used to relieve tension .

CHANGE YOUR THINKING

During stressful times you might be under pressure due to various reasons and you find yourself under negative or pressure thoughts which is just like adding fuel to the fire.  You should replace those pressure thoughts with positive or any other motivational thoughts to avoid burning out. It is difficult and it requires patience and time ,but once you are able to mould yourself into that manner the results are worth the effort. Positive thinking is very essential because you are essentially who you create yourself to be and all that occurs in your life was determined by your thinking. If you tell yourself that you will be fine,you will else you won't. So stand out from the crowd and be yourself and change your way of thinking.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF

The impact of job stress on an individual seems to be  a great concern because it affects both mentally and physically . Health always comes first so an individual should place his priority on health rather than worrying about his job. Nothing is worth than your health so don't poison your health with fear , anxiety and depression. You should allocate some time to involve in activities like yoga, medication and physical activities to relieve from the life threatening stress factor. If it goes beyond your control consult a physician to get some valuable iputs.

ORGANIZE YOURSELF AND SMILE

Mother teresa pointed out that"peace begins with smile"  if you're readig this please don't forget to cut and paste this sentence  inside your heart. Because smiles can bring everything which you had lost in the past. If you are under any kind of stress in your workplace ,go to a secluded area and think about any funny incident happened in your life and just smile till your stomach starts burning because smiling can reduce stress levels while performing different tasks. Smiling also helps in muscle relaxation  which helps to reduce some of the physical symptoms of stress. Next to smiling organize yourself in your home and also in the workplace to eliminate stress . Organizing is just what you prepare and arrange before you do something so that ,when you do it you will not mixed it up which in turn prevents you from scratching your head.

COMMUNICATE PROPERLY AND GIVE RESPECT

Any problem,big or small in your workplace seems to start with bad communication. So make sure to communicate in the best possible manner with modesty and respect. Maintain a good eye contact and start sharing humour with your co-workers to combat stress. Communication is a skill which you can learn and improve and this is the skill which helps you to improve the quality of every part of your life because bad communication gives us less space to grow . So, communicate wisely and give respect to your co-workers to create a friendly atmosphere at your workplace.
