Role Of Students In The Development Of Country
It is said that today's students are tomorrow's leaders. A good student is one who is not only aware of his rights and duties, but also perform them to his best. He should be a true patriot. He should fulfill all his duties to protect his country. Whenever called, he should be able to render the best service to his nation.
Students play an important role and can make or mar the progress of the country. They should keep themselves far away from dividing themselves in names of caste, creed, religion or races etc..... and then should impart same education to others. Being united is the best mantra to become developed and therefore is very essential to make our country developed. They should help in bringing unity among people and bring them under one platform. They should create oneness among others. They are responsible to make our country strong. They shouldn't separate country on different stages and make it weak, rather make country strong by practicing the principle of unity in diversity. They are the one who can make Gandhi Ji's dream of 'Ram Rajya' to become reality.
During times of war, students can come forward and form an organization. This organization can work wonders and help the soldiers and countrymen affected by war greatly. They can collect money in the form of donation and also they themselves can contribute some amount. This can help the soldiers as well as others. These organizations can also help people during the time of natural calamities like earthquakes, floods etc..... Even local people deficient of basic facilities should be taken care by students. Old clothes, extra books, some money can be collected for their sake. In this way, students can prove their responsibility towards their country.
A true student is one who does not care for comfort or power. He is not in greed of any sort of fame. Only he wants is knowledge. He practices his life on truth and lives happily by co-operating with others. Members of the society are inter dependent on each other. Thus, students should keep good relation with everyone in the society and work for the welfare of the country.
Schools often run certain programs from time to time. Students responsibility is to actively participate in such programs. For example, if a school starts a program to maintain cleanliness in their city or village, then it is the duty of all the students to participate in it. This should be done with full enthusiasm. Along with this, students should fulfill all their duties like planting the trees, participating in 'Vanmahotsav', maintaining cleanliness and many such duties. They should stand against evil and in the support of right. They should not bow down against rich and help poor and needy.
Students play an important role in shaping their country in desired shape. They can make or mar their as well as their country's future. A country is known by its students enthusiasm. Today students are disinterested to know about their rights and perform their duties. They have forgotten about their responsibilities. All they care about is for themselves and spend time leisurely, falling prey to bad habits. They ignore the advices given to them by their elders, they may be their teachers, parents or guardians. They are not loyal and very irregular in completing their work and do not take interest in it. They rage their fellow mates. Get involved in bad company and bad habits and totally spoil themselves and destroy their future. If this thing is continued and if today's students who are tomorrow's leaders do not correct themselves, soon human society is going to face the dark age they have ever seen in the century. Education will become useless as it is going to completely lose all of its moral values. Then a day will arrive, when nobody will proudly claim today's students as future of tomorrow. Thus, one has to hope and work to bring change in the prevailing conditions and work for the betterment. Let that age come back when students would themselves come forward to work for their society, for their fellow men and work for prosperity of their country.
Future of students and future of country both lies in the hands of students itself. They should be aware of their rights and duties. They should volunteer by themselves to work for good cause, for the betterment of their countrymen. They should struggle hard and accomplish their goals. They should respect their parents, teachers and other elders.
Teachers play a very important role in the life of students. Teachers impart education to them. By proper guidance and education, wonderful effects can be seen. Education is very essential as it can shape the students and they come to know what they do not know. Also, it teaches them to behave the way they do not behave. Thus, by proper education and under proper guidance of their parents and teachers, students should work in the proper development of their character as a whole and work towards the development of their country.
