" The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them but to be indifferent to them, thats the essence of inhumanity"     -George Bernard Shaw

I still do not understand the mystery of God. Why did he have to create a creature like man with a PAIR of eyes and ears ... Instaead he could have done the job with one each.

Then looking at the state of this world today , only one saying eachoes inside my heart " How much ever 'they' say, cry, yell Nothing enters my ears.. No matter how many retreats i attend.. I hear it through on ear and pass it through the other" How much ever i see their misery and sufferings, I forget!!!

In the quotation, they refers to the downtrodden, poor, helpless , weak, least important ones who are calling for help..yet i cant reach out to them.

Its the dictum of nature that everything reveals itself. If we observe carefully even the inanimate objects can speak and understand. Then why are we not able to hear the cries and see the sufferings of the very living, our own brothers and sisters, who are children of God just like us and are a part of his family??

We professionals are trying to solve the mysteries of nature with the help of highly sophisticated technologies, by studying what is ocuring at the molecular level. But the very fact is, we dont realise that we are unable to hear the cry of the weak and to see their sufferings. Even if we do..we arent bothered..simply because we are blind and deaf creatures living in this hostile world ( Despite the PAIR of eyes and ears)

" Whoever refuses to listen to the cry of the weak, will in turn plead and not be heard". What is amde clear through this verse is that only those wh experince the spiritual vibrations can hear their wails.

Human lives today, count for nothin. Insensitivity  to human suffering is increasing manifold.

The need of the hour in the world is, people who are courageous, compassionate and caring. Every act of love and mercy , every word of encouragement and solace, plants a seed of hope for the society inwhich we live and for humanity as a whole. Gustavo Gutierrez , Father of Libration theology once said "One act of solidarity or love, means more than a 100 books of theology"!!!
