One fine evening, reading the newspaper an interesting headline caught my attention.

"Boy battles cancer - tops scores with 92% in SSC examination"

The report stated that a 16 year old boy Nikhil Mane, a patient of leukaemia , scored 92 marks in Mumbai. The report explained how the young boy faced his

health problems with great courage, and inspite of the family problems regarding finances, he managed to undergo his treatment and study simultaneously.

This story reminded me of the old idiom " Where there kis a will , there is a way". Imagine how difficult it might have been for a person suffering with leukaemia to

keep up with his other classmates in studies. It is hardwork and determination of a person that allows him/her to overcome all hurdles in life and achieve great

heights.

All great personalities who have achieved marvelous success in different arenas, have one thing in common - they have come form humble backgrounds and   

have faced various problems in life with courage and finally, they have achieved laurels.

We. as students, have something to learn from this achievers. It is hardwork which yields success and ne can improve his performance with perseverance and

constant practice.

Some of us feel dejected with a minor failure without realising that failures are stepping stones to success. very human being is born with some talents and

some flaws. There is no perfect individual!!! So it is imporatnat to realise our shortcomings and work in the right direction to overcome them.

Always a positive attitude lays the foundation of success. If we look at each event in our life as a learning experience, and try to gain something from each

moment, we will never ever fel depressed and lost.

Friends, let us develop a positive attitude towards life> let us make use off our time for the best purpose. Let us not grumble over things that have gone wrong.

Let us not blame destiny for our problems. Let's work with sincereity , dedication, and try to experience the real pleasure of working towards the goal.

The best way to strive for success without being influenced byt the result, is to commit yourself fully to your duty , to make efforts form the bottom of your heart

and to leave the rest to God. "God helps those who help themselves"

Sooner or later we are sure to taste the fruits of desirable results.
