Over confidence is a word on which many people must have tried to research. In this article i am going to write some examples when over confidence happens and what problems it might cause.Over confidence means when a person is overally fully confident of something. people mainly get over confident doing the things in which they think they are very good. For example if u r  good in studies then u might not study much and think that there is still time i can prepare in some days for exams. this over confidence shown can harm the studies as a person is so confident he doesnt studies for a whole year and starts studying when the exam are so near. Over confidence can be a reason for a person's failure or downfall in life. Over confidence is often seen with people dealing in share market. they  are so confident of their knowledge they have of the stock market that they buy shares in huge quantities and then suffer this all happens because they thought they have much more knowledge than others and  this made them confident to take a big step and buy shares in huge quantities.Over confidence is also been a reason for defeats of individuals and teams in sports games like cricket, tennis , hockey etc. sometimes some teams loose against weaker teams because of their over confidence they think that the opposition is nothing against them and they dont take them seriously resulting in the defeat. thus over confidence is harmful for people in all the fields.

Their are some ways by which over confidence can be avoided. some of them are as follows.

1. One should react normally and should never have attitude of the positives he has.

2.One should be focus on the work he is doing .

3.One should never  think that his competitors or opposition is weak.

4.One should never give away spirit to hard work in life as hard work is the only way to success.

These are some of the steps one can take to avoid being over confident and to avoid the bad effects of over confidence.
