There’s good in every one of us
Everyone is made in a particular way for a reason
The creator was busy creating birds. All the birds were waiting to be given their colors. The ravens were painted black, the crows grey and black, and the pigeons white and grey. Blue and green were for the peacocks, green and red for the parrots. One by one the creator gave the birds their colors.
When the creator came at last to the sparrows, only the brown and black colors were left. The little sparrows thought, ``we’ll only get brown and black. There won’t be any bright reds or blues or greens for us.’’ They felt sad but did not say anything or complain.
The creator smiled. ``Do you think you will not be beautiful without bright colors which others birds have? Don’t worry. You will be beautiful in your own way.
Everyone is beautiful in a special way
Your color is suited to your needs. Your brown feathers will help you to hide among the branches of the trees. You will not be seen by anybody and will be safe.’’
The sparrows ow understood and felt happy. They learnt that looks don’t matter becau8se everyone is made in a particular way for a reason.
It is not out ward appearance which matters but what a person does. A person’s importance lies not in looks but in action
Sparrows are tiny birds but they perform an important function.
They eat insects which would otherwise destroy the leaves of plants. You too are made in a particular way for a particular reason. You too are different and special in some way.
Be happy with who you are and how you look.
Animals can sense and feel more than we think they can. Horses and dogs, dolphins and chimpanzees are some animals that are considered to be intelligent as well as sensitive.
India’s dense forests are the homes of different animals, birds and reptiles-some of them are, and many have become extinct! In order to protect our wildlife, these are now being placed in sanctuaries and parks
The females butterfly dies after it has laid eggs.
A yak has the tail of a horse, the hair of a goat, the skeleton of a lion, the head of a cow and grunts like a pig.
