Chosing the right plan - per second, per minute or per call
The new telecom price war has lead to a stage wherein each company is launching new plans to outdo the other. This is affecting the margins of the players.
But as a customer which is the best plan for you?
At first glance it seems that per second plan is the cheapest plan, but it need not be the case always.
A brief analysis is done to enable you to choose the right plan.

If the average duration of your calls are short calls the per second plan suits you
If the average duration is around 3 or more then 3 minutes then per call plan suits you
If your calls are mixture of the two then 50 p/s is the best plan
Top-ups
Heavy STD user can go for STD top ups
Roaming user can go for roaming based plan/ top up
Top-ups for SMS, night time talks are also available
