Frog and the Rat
An old frog was living in a lake. If it gets a chance to remove a word from dictionary, then it will remove the word 'Snake' because the frog hated snakes that much. When the frog was young, it got caught with a snake and escaped from it luckily. Whenever it thinks of this incident, its body will shiver like anything. The frog wanted to take revenge of the snakes in some way. So it decided to start a political party by following the style of human beings.
After thinking for so many days, it named its party as "United Front". Now the next step is to get members for its party. A rat was living near the lake. Rat is the long time friend of the Frog. So the frog decided to meet its friend and ask for its support. Frog discussed about its political party with the rat. Rat also liked the idea and told frog to modify the name of the political party. So they changed the name of the party to "United Democratic Front". They decided to meet all the animals and birds who don't like snakes and request them to join the party. They also decided to conduct the first conference for their political party when more members join the party.
Rat and Frog decided that they both should be united till their mission succeeds. As an indication of their unity, they tied themselves with a thin rope. One end of the rope is tied to the neck of the frog and other end is tied to the neck of the rat. They told themselves that nobody in this world can break their relationship.
But their happiness didn't last long. Suddenly a snake came there. On seeing the snake, the frog jumped in a single stroke to the river. As the rat is also tied to the frog, it was also forced to fell into the river. Rat died as it was not able to breathe.At that time an eagle was flying in the sky. It saw the rat floating in the river. It immediately came down and took the rat. As the frog was also tied to it, it was also forced to die.
