Every person on earth has a group of friends or at least a close friend with whom we can share all things in life. Friends are those who know us personally but still accept us the way we are. We might have many close people in our life, many of us tend to leave us in difficult times but a true friend will stand by us throughout our life. This close bondage between two people or a group of people is known as ‘Friendship’. Friendship is far more than just being friends. It is a deep connection within the soul that is an unearned gift of love. It can’t be compared with any other relation in our life. Friendship plays a very important role in a person’s life. We might face various problems as different stages & different times. We can’t share all of them with our parents or family members. But, we can always approach our friends for a good advice. They will not only give us an appropriate advice but also help us overcome the problems. Whether its day or night, childhood or old age, winter or summer, Sunday or Monday our friends will always stand with us. The deepest secrets of life can be shared only with our friends. There are many excellent examples of friendship in history too. The one I recollect is of Bhagat Singh; Sukhdev & Rajguru. They spent their lives in service of their nation. They were together in all phases of life & struggled during the independence of India. Not only they struggled but they also sacrificed their lives for their Motherland. Another great example of a very close friendship can be that of Lord Krishna & Arjuna. Lord Krishna was always a true friend & helped Arjuna throughout his life to overcome all difficulties. He instructed Arjuna with his divine words-‘The Bhagavad Gita’ on the battlefield of Kurukshetra when Arjuna was confused & was in a dilemma. Friends are just not a part of our life; they are our life! Having true friends in life is a very lucky thing. If we have such friends in life we should be grateful & never break their trust.
