Holiday trip to Europe

Rajesh Chaddha was a wealthy youngman. He had professional degree in engineering but chose to remain unmployed. He was too rich to seek job in any company. He was also not inclined to run own business. He had enough income from rental property and investments.  His only pasttime was to visit places far and wide. This time he planned to visit Russia and some East European countries.

The airplane blasts

In the midway, the airplane engine got out of order. The captain of the plane announced that the plane could burst any time. Before the captain complete his setence, the plan blasted. The entire crew and passengers died instantly. Rajesh was asleep when the plane blasted. He  fell downwards.  when he regained conscience, he found himself floating on a wooden piece in a river. The bag containing important papers and currency was also still hanging by his neck. All papers and money were safe. He managed to swim to the bank of river.

Rajesh moves idly in the city

Rajesh entered the city that was on river bank.  He had no clothes and other items with him as those were in the air plane that blasted in midair.   He bought some clothes and other items in the city.  The shops accepted foreign currency also.  He had a breakfast and roamed in the city.

Rajesh rapes a woman

He found that most men were accompanied by women. The way men and women walked and talked clearly indicated that women were more dominating in the city.  Women talked in commanding tone and men obeyed intantly.  As sun set,  Rejesh felt hungry. He entered a bar cum restaurant.  He asked for a few drinks and took dinner.  He left the restaurant in an inebriated state.  As ill luck would have it, he came across a very pretty and sex appealing woman. He had absolutely no control on passion. He grabbed her and planted innumerable kisses on her cheeks.  He forcibly dragged her to a lonely park and rapd her.  Meanwhile the woman heard some voices of men and women. she cried for help.  Some police personally appeared.  They arrested Rajesh and put him in custody.

Appearance before magistrate

Rajesh was the whole night in police custody.  Unlike Indian police stations, he was very comfortable in custody. He was kept in an airconditioned room with facility of television and refrigerator. He could drink water and other cold drinks kept in the refrigerator.

Next morning, the police staff presented him before a magistrate.  The victim also appeared in the court and narrated the whole incident. Then she left the court.  Rajesh asked why he was not allowed to put any qustion to the woman.

The magistrate said: Are you stranger to the country?  It appears that you don't know anything about court procedure.

Rajesh: Yes sir,  I am stranger. I escaped from plane accident and landed here.

Magistrate: Are you married?

Rajesh: No sir.

In single men hostel

Then the magistrate issued an order for putting Rajesh in single men's hostel where he would stay as long as he is either married or some woman takes responsibility for his maintenance and good conduct. The police moved him to single men's hostel, which was under care of competent woman supervisor, namely Rita Fernandez  The police also handed over all his cash and other belongings to her.

Rajesh asked the hostel suprvisor- Is all my money confiscated?

Rita- No. This is in safe custody. This will be returned when some woman marries you. Men have always to be under supervision of a woman, generally the wife.

Rajesh- But the magistrate is also a man?  Is he also under a woman?

Rita- Yes. He is under his wife's control. His monthly salary is paid to his wife only who maintains him. she may give him pocket money. Also he can be in service only till his wife allows.

Rajesh- Madam, one more question. How long will the case continue against me?

Rita- This is really funny. There is never any legal case against animals, children and men. Men have no mature mind. So a stray man can cause some damage. So you were not at fault. If you were married, your wife could be alleged for improper control on you and could be fined or even jailed.  Moreover, the woman has not lost anything. Sexual assault on her is just an accident. That is why magistrate only asked for your safe custody and maintenance in this hostel under my supervision till you are duly settled by finding a suitable wife.

For a few days, Rajesh stayed well according to rules. The inmates had to follow the rules regarding cleanliness, decorum and punctuality. They must enter the dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner according to time schedule. They had also facility for indoor games, television and internet.

All went well for a few days.  One day, Rajesh felt keen desire to visit a pub. He asked the supervisor whether he could visit a pub. She allowed him with a condition that he would not overdrink and return to hostel by nine P.M. She gave him some money. Rajesh hired a taxi and asked the driver to take him to a pub. On reaching the pub, Rajesh tok a few drinks and almost forgot that he had to return to hostel. The pub closed at 12 O' clock. The pub staff asked Rajesh to leave. Rajesh staggered his way out. He could not even properly stand on his feet.

Rajesh did not know that he was being closely monitored and watched. Rita had deployd some staff to follow Rajesh wherever he went.  He was made to sit in jeep sent by Rita.  He was helped to reach bed. He slept till late next day. He expected that Rita would rebuke or chide him. But she did nothing. everything went as usual.

After about a fortnight, Rita Fernanadez ordered Rajesh to visit her room. She told him that his act of grave indiscipline had been viewed seriously. He overdrank and also was very late to return. Rather her staff had to bring him otherwise he would be lost. This was time to punish. The inmates were punished only once a fortnight for any act of indiscipline during the period. She also said that men and animals were subject to corporal punishment only.

She ordered the peon to take Rajesh to Miss Mary Thomas, the disciplinary officer.  Mary Thomas first rebuked Rajesh and then ordered him to remove all clothes. She tied him to a hook in the ceiling. Then she began caning him mercilessly. Rajesh cried. He had never been subjected to such cruelty either at home or in school. She did not even count the number of strokes. she stopped only when blood appeared on backside of Rajesh and he had almost fainted. Then she untied him. He was allowed to rest after applying some ointment on his injury.

Rajesh feared to see Rita for many days. He felt that she was so angry and hence he was brutally beaten. He talked to othe inmates. But one inmate said that there is no question of any anger. Men are not much better than animals. Like animals, they may be beaten for offence but there is no anger.

Attending republic day function

One fine morning, there was an announcement that all inmates were to attend Republic Day function next monday.  On the Republic day, all inmates put on clothes according to dress code for the day. They all wore black trousers, white shirt, black tie and a cap.  They were asked to form queue in threes.  They marched ahead under supervision of Rita Fernandez and  Mary Thomas. They were not alowed to talk on the way. If any one talked or moved out of the queue, he would get immediately sharp stroke of cane on his backside.

They reached the stadium.  Rajesh noiced that married men were far better placed. They chatted cheerfully with their wives and even with other girls. He felt that the unmarried men are like orphaned children whereas the married men are more respectable even though they also had no status independent of wife. This is just like married women in male dominated society.

There were some cultural prgrammes apart from hoisting of national flag by the mayor and delivry of speech by her. The mayor stressed in her speech on responsibility of women to do their best and also guide their husbands and children to work for the nation. She emphasized that men also have a great potential for national prosperity but they can work only under women's control.

Sweets and snacks were also distributed on the occasion. They all returned to the hostel after the function.

Rajesh is married

One day, some women visited the single men hostel.  One woman namely Elizabeth Thomas liked Rajesh so much that she proposed to marry him. The woman was an industrialist. Rajesh told her that he did nothing but only traveled but his parents were industrialists and he had a degree in mechanical enginering. She was happy to know this. In a brief function, both were married. The marriage was duly registered. The registration was just like registration of motor vehicles. Now Rajesh had status of maried man. His wife could transfer him to another woman just like transfer of shares or motor vehicles.  All cogratulated Rajesh. Rita Fernandez advised Rajesh to always satisfy his wife. A man's destiny is linked with his wife.  His happiness lies in happiness of his wife. Rajesh listened to her very obediently and said that he would always cherish the memory of his days spent in the hostel.

Rajesh came to his new house. His wife employed him in her factory as general manager.  He was from business family and thus had no difficulty in doing his job satisfactorily. Elizabeth Thomas was doubly benefited. She got a good husband and employee. Also she had not to pay salary. Rajesh spent his days well.  However,  he was not in habit of staying long at one place. Luckily for him, one day,  Ms. Ranjana Mishra, originally an Indian happend to visit the factory. She had a long chat. She also understood the problem of Rajesh and assured him that she would solve his issue. She also said that she did not like the idea of female domination. Female domination is as bad as men's. Men and women are equal in the scheme of nature. Children are brought up properly when both parents are equal in status. In the women dominated society, the girls become bullies and boys timid. This is very unhealthy. Rajesh asked why she and other like minded women do not try to change the system. she cautioned Rajesh not to say such thing openly. Such talk is considered sedition for which even death sentence may be awarded. .

Rajesh transferred to another woman.

Ranjana Mishra convinced Elizabeth that Rajesh would be happier with her as she was also of Indian origin. Elizabeth happily agreed to transfer him to Ranjana.  Both signed an affidavit before magistrate and transfered the marriage certificate. Now Rajesh was under control of new wife, Ranjana. .

Rajesh and Ranjana return to India

Men could not go anywhere without wives. But women could move even to other countries. Ranjana planned a holiday trip to Europe, Africa and India. One day, Rajesh and Ranjana left the women's land. They reached India. They lived happy normal life thereafter.
