The story of two farmers

This is the story of two farmers. Their fields lay side by side. The water flowed through Ranga’s fed to Satyam’s field. Both the fields were fertile and yield good crops.

One day, Ranga thought: if I keep all the water for myself, my field will yield better crops’’.

He next day he blocked the passage through which water lowed into Satyam’s field and all water collected in Ranga’s field.

Satyam’s field had no water. But there was too much water in Ranga’s field and so the entire crop decayed. Grass began to Ranga’s field and so the entire crop decayed. Grass began grow and there was no crop at all, instead of becoming rich, Ranga becoming poor.

The moral of this story is that leave the selfishness. We should learn to live together, we should learn to share.

See the Nature

Just take a look at nature. If the trees did not distribute their fruits, they would bend over and break with the weight of the fruits. Flowers spread their fragrance to all. The wind blows over everybody and through every home. Learn to be like the tree, the flower and the wind.

Sharing

A group of school children once went on a picnic. Each one took some food along. Only Basher had nothing. His mother was ill, so the not pack anything for him. When it was time for lunch, all the children opened their Tiffin-boxes and started eating. Poor Basher sat alone in a corner. But Vinod spotted him sitting alone and hungry. He immediately went up to Basher and opened his lunch ox saying, ``Come, Basher, eat with me’’. They ate their lunch with great relish. When they had finished, Vinod said, ``Lunch was such fun today’’. Can you say why he was so happy?

If you share your food with a poor or hungry person, it is the biggest act of charity you can do.

If you give money to the poor, it is charity.
