University Days
"University Days" by James Thurber. James Thurber is a humourists in this essay has speaks of his sort comings and disabilities. Thurber had problem with Botany, Economics, Gymnasium, and Military Training. He 
passed all the subjects except Botany. He was the fails in the Botany Laboratory. The teacher saw flower cells through microscope while Thurber could see the reflection of his eyes. The next subject that Thurber did not like was Economics. He went the Economic class straight from the Botany class. He used them get them mixed.
To pass Gymnasium, one had to learn swimming. Thurber arranged for another student to take some do the swimming. Two years of military drill was compelsory to the student of Ohio state University. A student practise with spring field rifles. Thurber was no good as a Soldier. He was only senior still in uniform. Once when the General gave past commands, Thurber was marching away from the company. The General Priest him saying that he was only to have it write for his achievement.
