Well I am sharing some of my travelling experiences in this article. We all must be travelling through public transport more often. We all might experience many things which we may want to change.

I am from Mumbai and public transport here has no rest throughout the day. Trains are always crowded then it might be day or night on any line(Western, Central and Harbour Line).

I don't like people's behaviour in public transport when they find same female around them. Mostly female travel in train in Ladies Compartment but when they are in family they mught travel in general compartment and in such case most of the people will stare at her as if she has done some crime.

I sometimes think why people look at women in public transport in such a way. It might not be good for her privacy. Some people will try to go close to them and stand around them.(Hope you get what I am trying to say).

I hate such incidents and try to make that person realize about it so that he can stay away from ladies in such situations. As a regular traveller I witness such incidents more often and some times people realize that I am looking at them or someone like me is looking at them and they take a step back.

But I think there should be some security to make some strict actions against such irresponsive travellers who are such ill-mannered. They sometimes do not bother about what others might be thinking and still do the same thing continiously. Females are helpless in such a condition that they can't say anything to the person because it will create a show in the train and sometimes they raise their voices against such people and ask them to stay a little away but some times people give the reason of rush and will try to get more closer to females.

Even same thing happens in buses in Mumbai there are six seats in a 52 seater bus for ladies which are just for ladies but they can also sit on other seats if they are empty. When buses are crowded ladies may not a seat and so they might want to go to the nearest ladies seat so that they can stand comfortably there but most of the times people are standing around those ladies seats only. Yet another event which I hate. I hate people who stand near ladies seat in public transport.

Well we should stand at a place where we might get place to sit once someone is going to leave bus at their respective stops. But these ill-mannered people are standing near ladies seats and watching at the ladies sitting on the ladies seat. Even in such cases ladies fell uncomfortable and may just those people to stand  properly just to make sure that she is feeling uncomfortable but she can't do anything.

Why there is no privacy for ladies in public transport and people always staring at ladies even in public transport. There should be some security to stop such events because these are embarassing for those ladies.

I am trying to make sure that ladies get a place to stand at least near ladies seat if no seat is available so just do these simeple things and help other women while travelling and stare at the ill-mannered people who are trying make travelling in public transport for woman unfavorable. I will also ask public int the bus to hit such ill-mannered people if they try to cross the limit. So raise your voice and help ladies in public transport.
