Be responsible

None of us is born acting responsibility. A responsible character is formed over time. It I made of our out look and daily habits associated with feelings, thoughts and actions. Responsible people act the way they should whether or not anyone is watching. They do so because they understand that it’s right because they have the courage and self-control to act decently, even hen tempted to do otherwise.

As part of being responsible, we need to respect and show concern for the well-being of other people. Respect ranges from using basic manners to having compassion for the suffering of others.

Being responsible makes you feel good about yourself and make others respect and appreciate you.

How to be responsible feel great

  • When you agree to do something, does it: if you let people down, they will stop believing you. When you follow through on your commitments, people take you seriously.
  • Answer for your own actions: do not make excuses or blame other for what you do. When you take responsibility for your actions you are saying. ``I am the one who’s in charge of my life’’.
  • Take care of your own matters: do not rely on adults to remind you when you’re supposed to be somewhere or that you’re supposed to bring. You take the responsibility.
  • Be trustworthy: if somebody trusts you to borrow or take care of something, take care of it. If somebody tells you something in confidence, keep it to yourself. It’s important for people to know they can count on you.
  • Always use your head: think things through and use good judgment. When you use head you make better choices. That shows your parents that they can trust you.
  • Do not put things off: when ou have a job to do, do it. Doing things on time helps you take control of your life and shows that you can manage your own affairs.
