The earth is ours
Our world is Wonder world. It is good world and beautiful world.
Our earth is a beautiful planet. Water, air, and contained the light in the earth. We are living on this land. Many hills are there and lakes flow from the height places. It is with the full of trees and plants. There are beautiful animals and birds, and there sea and rivers. The earth looks very fine. It is our gift.
Now a days the trees and hills are cutting. Rivers are shrinking, no sufficient rains. So many troubles are from this reason.
Isn’t it a frightening thought?
With the forests gone from the face of the earth, life would become miserable. Image driving for miles and miles not finding a forest with tall trees, wild animals and clear running streams! Millions would starve to death with sky covered with dust and poisonous gases. Breathing would become difficult. We cough and cough for the rest of our lives.
There is some hope our planet if we all learn to protect our land, water and air and other natural resources. We must things which are environment friendly. Energy is needed by all of us. It is made by burning fuel, gas and oil. Cars, buses, trains, two 0wheelers and three –wheelers run on fuel. With so much energy being in the world, we shall run out for fuel. Buses and trains would stop running. There will be no gas for cooking and no electricity for reading.
Hundreds of children celebrated earth Day in the capital on that day by pledging to preserve the planet.
In this message to a group of visiting at his residence, the Indian prime minister ``we all address the earth as our mother but none of us pays her due respects,’’ he advised the people to recognize and respect nature. Pointing to the water crisis, he observed that there is no harmony between man and nature.
*Let us all take a pledge like these people- a ledge to do all we can to save our planet.
