Buddh international circuit is the first and the only international f1 race circuit in India. This circuit is located at the widespread landscape in the grater noida district of Uttar pradesh.

It has an overall length of 5.137 km or 3.192 miles. This circuit has been designed by the well known German architect Hermann tilke. He has the experience in designing various international circuits in Malaysia, Singapore and many other countries.

The first edition of the Indian grand prix will be held on October 30 2011 .the circuit is expected to have a seat capacity of 1, 10,000.it will be 17 th f1 race of the season and Sebastian vettel has already taken the title with an unassailable lead in driver standings points.

The circuit is actually a part of the jaypee greens sports city. They have plans of including an 18 holes golf park and cricket stadium within this city. The seat capacity of the buddh international circuit is also expected to be increased to 2, 00,000 people.

The official logo of the Indian grand prix showcases the tricolor of Indian flag in the shape of a heart. The ticket prices are expected to be in the range of Rs.2500 onwards.

Among the drivers all the Indian eyes will be on the Indian racer Narain karthikeyan who gets an opportunity to race in f1 in front of his home fans. He will be representing the Hispania racing team [hrt].though plagued by injuries and replaced by Ricardo for a series of races, Narain is expected to race in the buddh international circuit.
