Mammoth Innings by Sachin
The One day International game in cricket started from 1971. From there onwards, so many records achieved by the players. The one record is not achieved is getting double century in single innings. Few players try to achieved this fruit but did not get in various reason.
In the Year 1997, Saeed Anwar from Pakistan reached 194 against India at Chennai. He beat the record of VV Richards 189 in this match. This is highest ODI score in an innings by single batsman until 23rd Feb of 2010.
After 1977, Ganguly (183), Dhoni (183*), Gibbs (175), and Sachin got few chance to break it, but it could not happen. Mostly the players will be out or the target score has reached. Sachin got two
chance to break this record but not able to achieve that.

Charless Coventry reached the milestone of 194* and he equals the world record of 194 with Saeed Anwar. Coventry took just 15 ODI on his 26 age for taking this world record whereas Sachin took 442 ODI for achieving on this world record on his 36th age.
Now, Sachin added one more diamond in his bat and the record may continue. He slashed 25 fours and 3 sixes for taking 200* from just 147 balls. We have waited 39 years and 2962 ODI for someone taking 200 runs in single innings.

* Most man of the series awards ( 14 times )
After playing three more One day International match, he is going to achieve playing more number of ODI by beating Jayasurya (442). Probably he have chance to get two more record in an ODI format,
* Playing ODI cricket game in long term.
* Most number of catches in ODI format.
Even though he achieved more records in his hand, in his career his team is not achieved the world cup. Its interesting that, whether Indian team with Sachin will win the world cup 2011 which is going to be held on Indian soil?
The records are not unbreakable one. At one day by any player can break this record. Now Sachin thinks, if any Indians break this record he will be happy. We will wait whom breaking this record?
