Money vs. cricket(IPL)

IPL is a game for sake of money only. The team titles signify nothing but a mean to attract spectators and bidders. If IPL is truly Indian players should have represented it. But it is not the case. It is just money and not cricket with sensual dancing cheer girls. Does Indian cricket needed all that stuff in nation where cricket is a religion? So people support the teams by regional names with no exposure to young talents that could have been nurtured.

Now we have came across loads of criticism concerning IPL now let’s take a look at the positive side of IPL I’m not absolutely for IPL but we cannot give a blind eye to some of its features.

Teams should have at least for less than 22 years players who are local to the region. This would give a fair chance to the emerging youth and chance to play with the first class cricketers across the globe. They can sharpen their skill after all they are the future of the Indian cricket.

IPL teams have for international players. Indian players can learn the techniques and strategies used by the elite cricketers which would intern make the Indian team stronger.

There is almost 4000 crore turnover of IPL international brands are pouring money in IP as the league is going to play all over the India every city would be creating chance for employment at least for the season after all it is not easy to mobilize and satisfy the crowd which have came for the IPL

IPL can look forward to make a brand name like English premier league or Barclay’s premier league with each advantage of the IPL comes a disadvantage that after all a nature’s rule, illegal betting, ethical issues are on the top of the list.

Obviously it is hard to get out of the inertia and accept some new thing that fast but as far as I can see the future of the IPL is bright and youth loves IPL they need to improvise on certain things and sort out the political issues concerning the elite cricket.

I expect others to pour in their views too.

It has been said that young talent will be given fair bit of chance but what’s happening many of youngsters have been shown the door. They might learn very much by watching rest of IPL matches in their couch at home.
