About India
India- a republic country is called also as Bharat. It is bounded by Afghanistan, China, Nepal and Bhutan on the north, on the east Bangladesh and Myanmar and also the bay of Bengal, in the west Arabian sea and Pakistan. India has 28 states and 7 union territories. Delhi is the capital of India.. In the east the great Himalayan is situated.
The people of India are culturally diverse and region plays an important role but a true example of unity in diversity. India has many destinations to visit in all states. Kashmir is called heaven on earth. Kerala is beautiful in nature. There is Barren island- with a live volcano of Asia. Thar Desert in Rajasthan, tropical forest or rain drenched Assam also is in India. Hindu, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Some other communities live together and there are more than 100 languages are spoken only in India. There are many rivers like The Ganges, Yamuna, Bhagirathi, Narmada etc.
Anywhere you can go
Any where you can go in India and where ever you go, you can enjoy seeing the beauties of nature. It may be Kashmir to Kanyakumari, or Rajasthan, Kerala, Assam, West Bengal, Manipur, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh anywhere.
There is a great combination of rivers, hills, sea etc which can be seen in India only. Andaman is an example of it. India is a home of many abundant plants and animals lives and also a wide range of climates which accommodate a diversity of many things, throughout the country.
The Assam valley is famous for forests with some bamboo and tall grasses. Many many places are famous in India. It is quite impossible to note down at a glance. I am trying to say about some famous cities of India.
Mumbai: It is said as the largest city in India. Previously it was known as Bombay. It is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in India. Once it was head quarter of British. Mumbai is a famous place of transportation and shipping and it is also called as the centre of several important industries, including Bollywood industry. There are many places to visit here, like beaches, Museums, park etc.
Kolkata: It is the capital of West Bengal. It is said as most crowded city in India. Kolkata and surroundings has any destinations to visit like port, Victoria Memorial, Alipore Zoo, Birla Planetarium, Metro railways, National Library The Ganga River and nearby Kolkata Sunder ban, Digha, Darjeeling, Murshidabad, etc.
Delhi: It is the capital of India and a historical City with good transportation system. It is also the center of many industries and trade. Rajghat, President’s house, Lotus temple, Akhswardham temple, Jantar-Mantar, Kutubminar, Red fort etc are some visible places.
There are many cities and also famous in India like Hyderabad, Nagpur, Luckhnow, Jaipur Gaya, Ahmadabad, Pune, Chennai, Surat, Nasik etc. etc.
Language spoken in India: According to the central census- one hundred fourteen languages and two hundred sixteen dialects are spoken in India. Eighteen languages plus English have been given status as official languages by several states. Hindi is the most spoken language in India.
Way of life and culture
The Indian people love to stay in a family. They also like to live united with two or more adult generations or with brothers and sisters in a joint family. Sometimes some people live in nuclear family also due some reasons. The Indian people like to wear traditional dresses like Saree and Dhoti etc. In most cases women go to their husband’s house after marriage. Seniors exercise power with love and affection in the family. India is self sufficient in agriculture. People are in different professions but feel as friends. There is no division in work, as all work is important in society. These emotions make the nation pride.
Art and Architecture
Taj Mahal- the famous tomb is in India. India is famous in art, and architecture, I literature also. Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore won the nobel Prize. India is famous for its unique culture in the world of music and dance also. Bharat Natyam, Katthak, Manipuri, Kathakali, Odisi. Rabindra nritya are some famous dances. India is also famous in the field of film and theater.
Libraries and museums
India has more than 60,000 libraries, out of which Kolkata National library is another famous. It keeps all books and magazines which are published in India still now. India has more than 500 museums. They are famous as some are historical and some are archaeological. National art gallery in Chennai Indian Museum in Kolkata, the prince of Wales museum of Mumbai, National museum in New Delhi are some famous for its rich collections of sculptures, miniature, paintings, and many other historical things.
The Calico museum of textiles collection in Ahmadabad and the crafts museum in Delhi, The Victoria Memorial in Kolkata are also famous and have some historical values.

So where is to go leaving our country? India is famous in all sectors even in agriculture, in forestry and fishing, in mining, in manufacturing, in every service and tourism, in transportation, in communication, in foreign trade, in all sectors.
