I landed up in Mumbai, all alone for the sake of good Internship. I promised myself of staying at paying guest(PG) all the time after office hours, as I was fortunate enough to find the PG at a location which was at Arm’s length of my office in India bulls finance centre. But thanks to my friend at office, who criticized me in a healthy manner that I should go alone and explore Mumbai, and it would be a fool of me to sit at home and not visiting any place in Mumbai. I considered it to be a positive advice and took it as a motivational speech and thus as a coincidence, one of my friend offered me if I would go out anywhere. I agreed the offer and suggested Bandra. So it was going to be my first-hand experience of Mumbai locals.

Though Bandra was not much distant from Elphinstone, Still I was having Goosebumps because of my over-introspection of negativity on the subject of accidents that happens regularly in such local trains. But the desire of stabilizing the self-image dominated my fear and I went ahead with the plans. I did not know that ticket for one destination can also offer one return journey for the same destination, so ended up paying for two tickets. Finally got into the train, it was Saturday so bulk of people were standing, which was more than the capacity load of that car. It had become difficult to even stand and it was suffocating. But finally destination arrived in few minutes. I went out with confidence and happiness thinking, huhh, it was a tip of the iceberg.

Then I went to Bandra with my friend and enjoyed a lot. Now when I returned I got into the ladies compartment and it was almost empty with few other women present, so got a seat to sit. My station was 4 stations away. So I took my mobile out of my pocket and started browsing. Finally the destination arrived and I ran towards the gate in a hurry to get out of it. As soon as I got out I realized that I left my Mobile in the Train. Since I knew that train stops only for few seconds, so instead of wasting time in searching my mobile inside my bag, I preferred to enter the train and ran at the seat where I was sitting. I could not find my Mobile there and train started moving, I just could not think of anything else, the only thing I could think of is that I wanted to catch this platform. The Train had already became speedy and I went out.

As soon as I took my leg out on the platform, it could not match the flow and speed of the train and thus it went away in the direction on which the train was moving with an equal speed while my body was heavy to carry such speed and as a result, I fell down. I shouted, no body came to help me in getting up and kept on looking at me. I got up on my own but my leg was aching like hell. I could sense pain in my toe and the blood was flowing out of it. Somehow I managed myself to carry on, and went out of the station to find some medical shops or clinic for first-aid, but all the shops nearby were closed. And I came home after walking for 1 kilometre. So overall it was the worst experience. And did I mention that later on I found my phone in the bag, and I could not decide whether I should be happy or feel pity about it.
