India is a land of birds. You can find large species of birds in our country. Many of them come from other countries. They are known as migratory birds. If you are an adventure lover, you have to move to some natural places such as sanitary etc. You can easily click a large number of bird's picture in this natural surroundings. Touring to some bird sanctuaries in India is really an adventure tour and every bird lover want to be a part of this tour. India is a full of wildlife or bird sanctuaries. India is a brilliant place for a bird lover. Watching birds in India is really a full of treasure and adventure. In India you may find around 1300 species of birds. 1. Bird Sanctuary - Kunthakulam
This bird sanctuary is a very famous sanctuary in India. This is located in Tamil Nadu at a separation of 20 miles away from Tiruneveli. This bird sanctuary is always protected by a group of people reside in Kunthakulam. This place is full of large numbers of migratory as well as local residing birds. They enjoy this place because of its natural beauty.

2. Bird Sanctuary - Bharatpur
This is another popular bird sanctuary in our country. You can find a large variety of birds in this sanctuary.This sanctuary is located very near to Bharatpur a well known place situated in Rajasthan. This bird sanctuary is awarded in year 1971 because of safest sanctuary in India. There are large numbers of hotels very near to this sanctuary such as Chandra Mahal, Laxmi Vikas has, Woodland Hotel situated in Bharatpur. If you get the opportunity to live very near to this sanctuary, it is really an Adventurous Opportunity for any bird lover.
This national park is also known as Bharatpur Bird sanctuary. This is located in BharatPur. A famous National parks in Rajasthan. Rajasthan is a place which is full of Different kinds of "havelis", Old Forts and various attractive places. This place is also known for its Bird sanctuary too. This place attracts a lot of visitors every year. The sanctuary got its name after the Construction of the famous Temple Keoladeo temple. Before that this sanctuary is a Hunting place of the raja of Bharatpur. This sanctuary is also coming under World Heritage Site Declared by the UNESCO.

3. Bird sanctuary - Sultanpur
This bird sanctuary is full of large numbers of local birds and migratory birds. This wildlife sanctuary is located in Gurgaon area. A famous place in Haryana. Along with birds a visitor can also see a large number of wild animals as well as typical flying marauders in this century. The area cover by this sanctuary is really large about 45 hectares in length. You can easily reach this place by road or by air.

4. Bird Sanctuary - Thattekad
The people of India prefer this Bird sanctuary. This sanctuary is largely visited Bird sanctuary in India. This sanctuary is located very near to Priver's bank. A famous river situated in Kerala. This is famous because of Teak and Rosewood. This Vegetation is easily found in this sanctuary. This sanctuary has a large number of birds. The Numbers of birds are around 255.

5. Wildlife Sanctuary - Kumarakom
This place is located around the Vembanad lake. It is a Famous lake located in Kerala. This sanctuary holds an area of around 15 Acres around this Famous Vembanad Lake in Kerala. This is a Heaven place for a large variety birds Species and animal species. This Sanctuary is located in Kottayam. A famous District of Kerala. There is a large number of Kettuvalams a kind of Houseboat which is used to see birds and animals. If you want a real Adventure, you need to use this Houseboat to watch beautiful birds.This is a natural way to watch birds without disturbing birds' natural habitat with the sound of Motor Engine boat which is also a way to watch birds.

6. Bird sanctuary - Salim Ali
This Bird sanctuary is full of large numbers of Species of Indigenous birds as well as Migratory. This sanctuary is located at the end point of an ocean known as "Chorao" Ocean. Some part of this Sanctuary is located very near to Mandovi river. This Bird sanctuary is known by Salim Ali Bird sanctuary because there is a famous Ornithologist. The name of this person is Dr. Salim Ali and this sanctuary derive its name from here.
Here is the list of all important birds resides in this sanctuary such as Common parrots, Wonderful Peafowl, Giant Sized Indian Squirrels, Flying Sparrows, Typical Pelican.
7. Bird sanctuary - Nawabganj
This bird sanctuary is a place where you found about 260 species of Migratory birds from countries like the USSR. This sanctuary is located on Both sides of the Lucknow-Kanpur Road. It is one of the famous sanctuary located in Uttar Pradesh. This sanctuary is announced as a protected Bird sanctuary by our Government in year 1984.This bird Sanctuary covers an area of around 3.5 Square Kilometers. In this sanctuary you may find a Research center for birds where researcher always research about the various species of birds and collect all information on what way they behave and survive in this sanctuary. This is a great tour for those who are a nature lover and like to click beautiful birds images.
Here is the list of all important birds resides in this sanctuary such as Typical Coots, Greylag Goose, Pintail, teal, Red colored Crested Pochard, Gadwall, Shoveller, Common Peacock, White color Ibis Painted type Stork, Dabchick, Whistling teal, Open billed stork, White necked stork etc.
8. Bird sanctuary - Ranganthittu
This sanctuary is full of rarely found Avian species. This Bird Sanctuary is situated very near to the River Kaveri. The area of this sanctuary is extremely large. This bird sanctuary is declared as a genuine reserve in Year 1940 by a famous Ornithologist Doctor Dr. Salim Ali. His Contribution is really appreciable. If you want to see large numbers of birds the best idea is to select a Boat and continue your trip with this boat along the famous river Kaveri situated in Tamil Nadu.

If you search for an oldest bird sanctuary also Known as Vedanthangal Bird sanctuary, your search is ended here. This sanctuary is located in Tamil Nadu. You may find very similar Bird sanctuary around Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu Border Area. This sanctuary is surrounded by a Vedanthankal lake. Tamil Nadu is really a Destiny for those who always like to travel from one place to another in search of birds and animals. This place is full of Dense Forest.
