2. Mughal Gardens.
Have you heard the name of Shalimar garden, Nishat garden and Chashmashahi. These all are the famous gardens in Srinagar and together they are known as "Mughal Gardens". This garden is located on the outskirt of the beautiful city Srinagar. In ancient times this place was used by Mughal Emperors with their queens. That's why this place is very popular with newly married couples. These gardens contain very beautiful and attractive flowers and fruit bearing plants. This garden is not famous only in Srinagar or Kashmir but all over the world due to its graceful construction and its wide variety of flora and fauna.
3. Dachigam National Park.
Dachigam national park is situated 22km away from the north eastern of Srinagar. This park is very big and dense as it is spread over an area of 142 sq km.
Its altitude ranges from 5500ft to 14000ft from sea level. This place is also known for its richness and variety of flora and fauna. It is one of the most attractive place in Srinagar. This National park gives shelter to many animals like 20 species of mammals including leopards, Himalayan brown bears etc. and at least 150 species of birds including golden eagle, Black Bulbul etc. In addition to these places there are many other places to see namely, Ziarati Hazrati Youza Asouph, Pari Mahal, Hazratbal Mosque and many more . Due to the presence of these beautiful places, tourists like to visit this place and want to capture the beauty of that place. This city is also known as the city of love and it is one of the most visited place of North India.
Gulmarg
Gulmarg is not a big city but its beauty is comparable to any big city. It is located in the Baramula district and its name is derived from the name of Hayfield of flowers. Gulmarg is 50km away from the most beautiful city Srinagar. You are amazed to know that this city holds the largest number of Golf courses in comparison to any other city. This place is very beautiful and attracts many tourists. Gulmarg is suitable for spending your vacation in the month of December to April. In this span of time you can enjoy the real beauty of Gulmarg. At this time you are able to see attractive and fascinating flowers like daisies, buttercups and the most important and rarest bluebells. You can also enjoy many adventurous sports like skiing, Paragliding and its famous golfing. The Sonmarg
This is one of the most beautiful place of Kashmir and its name literally means- The road to gold. This city has pride of being the most beautiful place of Kashmir and if you want to see its natural beauty, you must visit during November to Feburary and from May to September. In this span of time you can get a look at snow covered mountains and also enjoy the view of river Sindh. This city is full of alpine flowers and fir that makes your vacation memorable forever. From here you can easily go for Amarnath Yatra. In this city you also find the famous river "Nilagrad".
You are amazed to know that this river is the meeting point of all the mountain rivers and after that it meets with famous River Indus and its water changes its color and became red.
