I do make it a point to take a walk inn the morning during school holidays, when I am free.  Very true, it is just not possible to devote one hour in the morning when it is the busiest time of the day except may be during weekends...So, I walk in the evenings which is the same as walking in the mornings since the health benefits one gets is the same without any stress that one has in the morning !

Visualization of what.? If your visualization leads to positive thoughts and living in the present, it's OK.

This also depends on the individual teachers .Good teachers take it upon themselves to ensure strong foundation. I can speak for CBSE as I have taught only in those schools, that they have tried a lot of things ranging from CCE ( continuous and comprehensive evaluation) which evaluates a child's progress on a regular basis without too much pressure , holding regular workshops for teachers and so on.

As the post says, this topic is aimed at those who are either busy or lazy. It's a matter of making choices.

Visualization is also an effective technique to relax within a short time. I used to do this when I was working full time. It used to help me a lot from the pressures of work.

For mature minds, such information is mere trash. Then crazy followers are always there to patronize them. I feel, it's wise to allow such followers to hang on to their their opinions. One cannot expect all to be alike.

Useless info and boring too so far as I am concerned due to personal choice and I feel I have outgrown that age when these things were of some interest owing to the whats the latest trend and in fashion and so on... but lot of people do read it as these celebrities have a great fan following which mostly include youngsters. They read it, forward it , comment on it and even try to imitate their idols..seems very childish to me actually !

You mean why waste money on govt schools or in trying to bring children to school ? In either case, isn't education the basis of progress of any nation? @ rambabu, the topic has deviated from scrapping of the policy to the difference in education provided in private schools Vs Govt schools..and I think that's fine as they are related.  During forum discussions topic deviations are bound to happen. One leads to other. What I want to drive home is, this topic has been widely discussed leading to the conclusion" No detention policy" should be scrapped.I feel the discussion  has served its purpose.

I have no doubt about this particular article but I was speaking inn general about huff post and their means of getting news. I guess I have already made my stand clear on this issue through my previous comments.  I was only talking about the writer presentation of content and how she seems confused herself.
