    Thank you all for posting your views. As we got mixed responses about the points for lengthy responses, we will keep the current system intact and will implement a trial for multiple points for lengthy responses in future to see if it is feasible and works well.

    So I would like to announce that the new system is going to be implemented today, and the website will be offline for few minutes in the midnight. Hope it will go smoothly. Thank you all for your co-operation.

    In Answering section.. We having -2 points if someone voted our answer down.. What is the criteria for voting down, I mean if we are not agree with the answer we need to vote down.. But people can have different opinion. Please clarify my doubt on this...

    And I have checked answering section, it is having like and unlike feature.. Where is feature of voting up and down?!

    like/unlike are the buttons used for voteup/down points. There is no criteria for that, it is ones own discretion to vote up or down. You are not bound to do it on every answer just like why you would rate articles.

    This is how the better answering system can be built. Otherwise we can see thousands of answers like "google it for answer" :evil:
