The idea is this:
A topic will be given on saturday morning or late friday night. Based on the topic, each member will get submit his or her entry -a paragraph on the given topic - with some rules - the post should of minimum 50 words and maximum 150 words. These limits should be strictly adhered to, should not be copied from any source, should be based on your own experience or knowledge and should be in your own words. Only one entry per member will be allowed.

Prizes:
The best post will get a cash credit of Rs. 50 plus 50 points, Second Best gets Rs. 25 plus 50 points and Third winner - Rs. 10 plus 50 points.

The contest will be open on Saturday and Sunday and any entries after Sunday midnight will be disqualified. This is being introduced to encourage increased participation on weekends.

Thankyou boddunan. But I want to know if we have to write or opinion or an article on the topic? Or do we have to make some fiction or like? :)

The matter should be relevant to the topic given. I think it is like group discussion but the time is short. Also, you have to write only one post and not reply to any.

I have a doubt.Since only one reply is allowed , can we edit the reply posted already?

Aman, it can be fiction also but should be relevant to the topic given. Depending on the topic, you can make it as creative and humorous, if applicable, as possible. The idea is to encourage writing skills and to some extent, will also help improve grammar and spelling errors, because these factors too will be considered.

Gulshan, it won't be anything like group discussion, since each member will post paragraph as per his or her own understanding and not in view of other members' posts, I mean you do not have to post reply to other people's posts.

I think you can edit the reply any time before close of the contest.
