What I understand you are trying to say is to lower the redemption amount. If you write articles regularly you can reach the threshold easily. I have earned like that every month in the past.

The Thread starter should be empowered to select a response from the members as the Best response. In case the thread starter is not available due to some reason, for more than 2 days, one of the moderators can take the charge of selecting the " Best response." This suggestion is exclusively for Forums only.

@ rambabu- That is a reasonable suggestion which I guess can be implemented if the admin permits.

While the suggestion is welcome but generally judge and prosecutor or judge and defender should not be the same person. Conflict of interest and bias can creep in.

This is a suggestion.loose ends can be  tied. May be another suggestion from another member can tone up. Additionally, this practice is already there in the Answers forum.

I dont think anyone will do that at the cost of his own credibility and that is very much in practice in certain forums. You may find a few cases of give and take but that is normal and acceptable.

I am still getting myself oriented to boddunan ,so, am at a risk of making a faux pas. Nevertheless,  with my limited knowledge after browsing and looking for what Interests me the most I thought with a group of people who are Into reading and writing a ' Book review' section should have been here. It would generate a lot of interest amongst people who like reading.

@ lopamudra you certainly can write book reviews in article section within the guidelines of article section. I am on a mobile phone so unable to give you the link of guidelines but you can find it easily.

The practice of selecting the "Best answer ' by the question poster in the Answers forum till date remained without blemish. In that forum I have never seen any partiality taking place. Even the super moderators and moderators are the participants in the Answers forum . Never they complained are found  any problem there.

I don't see any reason why this process of including it in the Discussion Forums is seen with suspicion.

If it is good for Answers forum, it must be good for Discussion forums too.

I found only 3 categories for Reviews namely Restaurants,  mobile phones and tourist destinations. Yeah I understand that I can write book reviews as well but If there Is a specific section allotted to It, everyone will post reviews of the books they have read and It would be easier for everyone ,me included, to look for good books while buying them or finding them In the Libraries we go to.
