Till now team India's perforce has been fair in the World cup, except a few hiccups, but to win the cup it has to transform its fair performance into an excellent one. It needs to work out some problems like who is going to bowl the last over or if Yusuf is required to be promoted up the order. I personally believe this things should be sorted out before the match. If the team follows these basic things they will difinetly win the world cup and we will cheer on its victory.
Yes of cource.. India will win the world cup..
the 1st main advantage is that they play in Own country.
All player is in form. but bowling side is looking little bit weak. Hope match by match they will improve.

Though it is difficult to guess my vote goes for a 'YES'.Team India has really good potential and with players like Sachin,Sahwag,Gambhir,Yuvraj,Dhoni,Pathan and Zaheer they are in a position to defeat any team.in the matches played so far, I think team India has one severe problem. While the players from good teams seem to take the world-cup-feeling in their stride, team India seems to be less prepared, specially in bowling and fielding departments. But still Dhoni and company have shown a number of times how to come back and this ability is the lone factor which makes me cast my 'YES' vote.
From quarter finals I believe it will be a different ball game and a battle of nerves. In the recent past India has defeated major teams in clinch games.Only Proteas were the team who defeated India in some such games. But i think playing at home India will be better off.
England had come back with a win over West Indies. Now the wounded lions are coming to attack India.Wait and see.

While India has a fair chance of winning World Cup, the team has not shown the signs of a winning team so far. Many a time the team has struggled in easy situations and appears to lose concentration. While it was positioned with strong teams like South Africa,England,West Indies, Bangladesh,Netherlands and Ireland , it appeared like an easy competition. Since India is placed 2nd in ODI ranks the expectations sore high. Inspite of making a high score of 334 against England, the team had to sweat a lot and thankfully managed a draw.
Its cricket and anything may happen but even all those thing i wish this world cup India should win and must win.

India team have some weakness also in fast bowling but its Indian pitch so spinner can do his best.

BCCI being not happy with Dhoni's decision on selecting final 11, this would have sent an alarm to all players and they may play to their best and book their berth in super 8 and continue to play as deadly as they always play and in turn, win the world cup.
I think India will bounce back with good start after big attack from SA. SO all will come as more mature player in the next match.

Dhoni is not at all a good captain in the matches of this ICC world cup 2011.So India will have to struggle to exist here.
