THe next thing that comes into play is the rule of game itself. We have to get rid off the rule of maximum one bouncer per over. If free use of bouncers are allowed in domestic tournaments our batsmen will not knock their knees in front of world number one bowlers from Ausies and West Indies. We need good hookers with technique and guts to face these bowlers.

Also our bowling departments is to be conducted a post mortom. None of our bowlers have a speed over 140Km/Hr. THen after batting against these domestic bowlers in domestic tournaments how can one face fastest bowlers of the world?

So some bowling machine may be required to train our batsmen against these fast bowlers.

In my opinion one more thing is to be done. All our teenage cricketers should be married immediately to make them concentrate in plays rather than the night parties with cheer girls and beauty queens.

Marriage may make them responsible, but will also contribute to lessening their concentration on the game.
So it is wiser if cheerrleader are removed in the first place. Actually I wonder what purpose they serve..
In my opinion night parties make players lazy

When you are being paid highly exorbitant amounts of money to play your game well, that should be enough to make you feel responsible towards your job!! if that does not make you responsible, I don't think getting these players married will work.

The attitudes of the players, their managers and BCCI needs to be changed... if the focus on glamor is lessened and increased on actual game, then may be it will happen.

Take the Indian women team for instance, not one of them ever is seen in any of those highly-paid advertisements nor are they worshiped on pedestals, still they are better performers than their men counterparts!

The IPL matches need not hinder the players' performance in international matches unless the standards for IPL matches are more lenient. Remedy lies in making IPL matches conform to international standards. If done so, the IPL matches will be practice matches for international tournaments and help the players.

So Friends I conclude my discussion
Topic :Was IPL afected the Indian team performance in World Cup T-20?

• IPL had both adverse and meritorious effect on the team’s performance in World T-20 tournament
• The long journeys may had made the players to be tired.
• The night parties told by the Captain was avoidable which can’t be told as a reason to the fall
• Team as a whole was not able to perform due to tight IPL schedule

* Really IPL was a practising match for Indians.

@Abid, you have summed up your argument really well!

I think there is also the fact the while the cricket is being controlled and managed by the BCCI, the IPL teams are being owned by people who do not know an iota of the game itself! It could be that there are conflicts between these two elements that would affect the players' well being and since sinful amounts of money ins involved,no one protests about it!

It is also evident by the statement given by Dhoni, that due to the franchisees' pressure they had to attend the late night parties! but again, it is matter of self-discipline and self regulation this players should have exercised which they failed to show!

So ultimately it is not the IPL, but their own lack of professionalism, discipline and maturity that was the cause of dismal performance of teh Indian team!
