also if government reduces petrol prices...then it will increase our service tax..beacuse from some where it had to generated revenue to provide subsidy...

so u take in any way...people have 2 shed their money

Opposition try this to attract public after bandh there is not effect on Govt. but still opposition got benefit of bandh nothing else.
If opposition able to bring result then we can say that they are doing some thing good but after bandh there is no any other action to bring such good result.

In my opinion "Bandhs are political dramas".But we should also think something in other angle.

If a government goes on increasing all the prices and the opposition parties are sitting idle without any protest people will ask each other why there is no protest? So in our country bandhs and harthals are the common way of immediate protest.

Those who conduct it knows that it will not reduce the price.Also the ruling party knows that it will be adjusted by people within a couple of days.

So we public has to do something here.It is not Harthal or Bandh.We have to protest continuously against such action without looking the colour of flag or name of party.Whatever be the adverse action people had to respond united.If one days protest does not make the government to think go for next day and surely when it prolongs there will be some action.Also people should take care not to exploit it by any parties.

Any other one day protests or some hours protests will not do anything other than people suffering again on a permanent suffering.

Their is also other way to oppase the increase in fuel prices..aren,t we forgotting this is the country of Mahatama Gandhi...If you want to oppose any thing,why dont you follow gandhiji way?

why dont opposition party do satyagraha in front of parliament...if they want to show their strength then show their strength in front of parliament by doing satyagraha.....their is no neccesity to call bandh...government has lost around 3000 crores due to this band..

If you can exhibit the knowledge of Mahatma Gandhi here then i guess you should have concluded that peaceful bandh was the first step of stayagraha taught to Gandhi by Leo Tolstoy and then later on by Gandhi to all us Indians.

The national bandh was in peaceful exactly on the guidelines od Mahatma Gandhi.

Even Gandhi put his requests in all these ways like a) talk to the concerned people b) request them c) arrange the masses and mentally prepare by such peaceful protests (like this national bandh d) wait for decision e) again warn the authorities before going to satyagraha f) then satyagraha g) finally if no results than fast unto death..

But at that time he has masses supporting him unto his final fast unto death

Here today are we dedicated to be with such protest to that satge..

Just one support for bandh and people like you have started shedding the self knowledge to the masses about the adverse effects.reason is peopel like you expect every thing to be designed in plate and served.

I remarked in a recent post that bandhs are more a show of strength. Even then bandh is showing some affect. It has been reported that the Govt. is attempting to convince the oil companies not to raise prices sharply soon. The strategy seems to be to dilute the current tense situation and the prices may be raised later. Thus the bandh may have short term benefit to people.

It was all Indian bandh, so few posters and all are to be ignored, acts of isolated jokers. There is more burning and tension in Kashmir than whole India taken during 5th July bandh.

Government can give subsidies or reduce tax to lessen the burden on the common people. Rather than preparing for studies or meetings, what's the benefit in conducting bharath bandh.

Opposition parties are liking to conduct such bandhs against the ruling party to get the attraction of the people. They want to show that they are along with the people. This is just a show off. nothing else.

Thanks for accepting my wording. A harthal or bandh lasts for just two days and after all of us forgets to protest against the cause. Even those who suggested to conduct harthal will also get quite after their motive is made. They even don't look back to people.

Harthal just give a big hype for the people's protest against the cause, its made to the maximum and after that we too forgets to continue the protest.

Opposition showing that they are with us because they need vote from us so obviously they will be with us but question is that have they able to bring result for us. They are just searching for new ajanda for vote bank nothing else.
