According to a reliable information source, it is likely that the rainfall this year would be comparitively low when compared to the average of last few years. In Andhra Pradesh hollow pits initiative is being taken. It will increase ground water level. This kind of initiative should be taken in every state. Also rain water harvesting should be implemented for our country's prosperity. Isn't it ...?

Every channel provides meteorological reports reported by the authentic sources.

Honestly saying, almost all time such predictions ended wrongly. So you never know.

Sorry I don't agree with you . MDA's predictions are very accurate.

Well, I don't know about MDA, they may be correct.

But the predictions I used to hear on news, most of the time they goes wrong.

In Kerala the situation is quite different. For last 3-4 weeks there is heavy rain followed by thunder and lightning. There used to be summer rains in the past; but not so heavy and long-lasting like this time. It seems that the Southwest monsoon which is supposed to arrive in June every year has arrived well in advance. This climate change, the untimely heavy rain in summer, can be due to global warming.

Meteorologists and weather experts attributed all the seasonal irregularities to the atmospheric abuse. In AP there is a big variation in rainfall even in the places in the very viscinity . In AP, especially Vizag is passing through a severe dry spell  whereas , in Hyderabad rains are lasting.

Currently Telangana is planning to have pollution reports at every area to monitor the levels of pollution. However this will be successful in bringing down the pollution level only if the PCB is stringent in giving Tested Ok certificates only if it really passes the test. This will ensure that pollution levels are under control and indirectly help in good rainfalls.

And also as long as Electric and Battery run vehicles are not encouraged, the deficient rainfall will continue. Many advanced countries are using Electric, Battery and Hybrid vehicles and India should also give prior importance in this matter.

Our energy resources are not infinite. They are bound to deplete with time. This can be taken care if the alternate energy sources are explored. Yes Telangana is proceeding with the right motive. But it should besupported by the people too. Govts alone cannot do anything without people's active participation.

Insufficient rainfall may be bad for agriculture and for sure it will lead to increase in price of vegetables and cereals.
