We cannot expect results overnight. A change takes place over a period. Even if they force drastic changes in the society, they will be short lived and again the country reverts back to it's original state.

Wisdom lies in giving  time for anything to happen and give fruitful results.

To say that society should change on its own never happens. The great changes in society like the French and Russian revolutions were by naked force. Similarly kemel Ataturk modernize Turkey by force. If you read soldiers used to cut the long dresses of the women with their swords so that they wear skirts and Turkey modernised. No change comes on its own. It may take a thousand years. We have not been able to eradicate caste for 3000 years though many reformers like Nanak and other came. Unfortunately the youth in India is moribund and we never had a revolution. That is our problem

Change never takes place overnight. First of all a Change is not accepted and then ridiculed. It's but natural. But over a period the fruits of Change will surface up. Rome was not built in a Day.

I agree. The vested sections of society benefited by the unjust social system will never like to change. The oppressed people have to be enlightened so that they may fight for their just status.

Oppressed sections of the society should rise and raise their voice against these social evils.

All these are social evils and must be removed completely but the problem is there is no law could do this, it is the thinking process that should be refined, hoping for such clear state of mind of all where every Indian would feel the same.

Law need not be there for doing a good work. Self realization makes the things fine.

These are noble thoughts, but not borne out by reality.

The issue is really that Hindu religion is intrinsically inhuman.  The brahmins emerged from mouth, Khtriya from arms, Vaishya from stomaqch and shudra from feet of Brahma. So ho can the upper caste women tolerate even shadow of Dalit.  Theis is precisly the reasosn why lower castes are tempted to convert to other religions.  The Hindu way of life is obviously ant human and anti depressed people.

I agree with you. I wonder whether people will ponder that 40% of the sub continent who were all Hindus converted to Islam .

That is the way Hindu religion goes it is oldest and still continues to survive despite Europe and Middle east discarded their older religion to convert to Christianity and Islam respectively but still religion Hindu survives and of course in united India due to emergence of Pak large scale force conversion so as per the statistics related with caste ism for prime reason of convergence does not suffice.
