It is not hidden in the world that Indians are known for their love for food. Different part of India, people have their own special food or taste. What make it common that almost every Indians loves spicy food? Sometime it make me wonder to think as how it possible when most of other part of the world, people like to eat the food with less spicy or not at all spicy.

This is also true that the “Masals” we use for cooking is rich in taste and good for health. Like turmeric powder, gingers to name a few are benefit for health. So, my question is why there are countries that are not aware of its benefit? Why not they use spicy in their food?

All spices are not good from the health point of view.. Liking of spicy food is not just restricted to India alone. Take for instance KFC, Kentucky Fried chicken is famous for its Spicy delicacies all over the world.

Spices are discovered long back in India, so there is no surprise of it heavier use and it differed from region to region.

Yes. But all spices are not good for health. Some spices are to be used sparingly. And some to be  excessively.

Spices have their own health and nutritional benefits besides making the food tasty. Spice is used in Schezuan region of China , Spain, in Thai food  and also in Mexican food which can be very hot and spicy

Spices have nutritional qualities undoubtedly  Black pepper and Bay leaf to name a few have the potentiality to to add taste to the food. The best part about Spices is they are mostly available easily from the market. Most of the oriental countries use these spices extensively. But caution has to be exercised in using them. Excessive usage may act as counter productive.

spices make food tastier and are also good for health if not over used in food.  Spice is good as long as this is in small proportion.

Most of the spices have dual quality of providing nutrients and taste. The icing on the cake is most of these spices are commonly used in almost every household. One need not expend extra money for them.

Spices are used in every part of the world although India and neighboring countries top the list. The reason is simple, India is the country where spices were produced and supplied to other countries from long back.
