Whether people lke it or not, it cannot be denied that India is a HIndu majority ntion. The will of the majority will and always  remain paramount. It is so in UK and other nations also. The minority cannot be expected to rule. Hence beef ban is justified.

I'm in total agreement with you. This a country where Hindus are in Majority.  Ban on beef is very much necessary,.

What percent of Hindus support beef ban. It is some upper castes who want it but vast majority does not want it. After all the suppliers of animals to the slaughter houses were their owners for economical reasons. Those who have nothing to do with cows are championing the cause of beef ban.

Of course, eating the meat of healthy animal  is essential. Even  meat of  an unhealthy goat  will cause harmful diseases. Above all Pigs are not linked with any religion. If these conditions are satisfied a Pork eater can go ahead and relish the taste of the pork.

There is no doubt that eating meat is good for health. But over eating of red meat is not good. Research found that over use of red meat is one of the reasons for some kinds of cancer. Don't try to cook the meat if it is not fresh.
