Honestly, starting from kicking out the Pakistan embassy which is the focal point of all infiltrations, the hard liners in the valley should be dealt severely ..I wonder why give Pakistan most favored nation status when all that they have done is back stabbing and everything unfavourable.

You can go through the information i have quoted from source ..

When did India grant MFN status to Pakistan?

India granted MFN status to Pakistan in 1996, a year after the formation of WTO. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s possible revision of the MFN treatment accorded to Pakistan will effectively close down trade further between the two countries. Pakistan still hasn’t granted India with MFN status. On the other hand, it came up with a dissimilar but globally popular Non-Discriminatory Market Access (NDMA) agreement. The reason Pakistan has chosen to adopt the NDMA with India is due to political mistrust and a history of border conflicts.

Bilateral trade between India and Pakistan stands at $2.61 billion. The major commodities and goods in which both countries trade include cement, sugar, organic chemicals, cotton, man-made filaments, vegetables and certain fruits and tubers, mineral fuels, mineral oils, salts, earths, stone, lime, dry fruits, steel and plastering material.

What are the disadvantages of MFN?

The main disadvantage is that the country has to give the same treatment to all other trade partners who are members of the WTO. This translates into a price war and vulnerability of the domestic industry as a result. The country is not able to protect domestic industry from the cheaper imports and in this price war, some domestic players have to face heavy losses or growth restrictions.

In reality, Pakistan is most  favored Nation for Terrorists.

We are too happy to expose terrorist links all the time. No follow up action is undertaken. We keep analyzing the situations and blaming past regime's. Currently the issue is why Sardar did not become the PM. People are dying and getting injured at the border is not of much concern.

It is wrong to say that there is no follow up action. Even today Pakistan's ceasefire violations and attack by Pakistani Army was effectively retaliated. Of course, in a war deaths in both sides are imminent. But Army killed more Pakistan sponsored Terrorists.

Why Sarda did not become the PM is history and no one can change it. No benefit to discuss this matter.

Thanks of sharing this news. I think Pakistan is not is position to have a price war with India.

No doubt it is history and there is no use discussing it and I am sure not many are bothered about it except a few media persons and others who may genuinely be concerned at the turn things have taken because of this decision ..

Kashmir is burning, government is indifferent, 117 days of curfew/bandh, BJP-PDP coalition gone with the wind. Who will save the situation.
