Yes, it was a big relief .International Court of Justice has stayed the hanging of Indian National, Kulbhushan Jadhav, who was sentenced to death by a Pakistani Military court on charges of " Spying"

India had been denied consular access to Jadhav 13 times earlier. The issue had triggered fresh tension in Indo- Pak ties and India had warned Pakistan on the consequences

A great Diplomatic win for India.

Definitely. The team of lawyers listed the details of the case and the violations of the Geneva Convention by Pakistan. India's efforts, especially Ministry of External affairs are really Laudable

With all that if Kulbhushan has already been killed by the Pakistani s I wonder what steps could be taken . Because according to Harish Salve a senior Advocate with the Supreme court , has been in the forefront lobbying with ICJ , one can never trust Pakistan ..

Is the stay binding in Pakistan. What if they do not accept it. It is a lawless country

Mind it.  Hanging of Kulbhushan Jadhav was stayed by none other Intentional Court of Justice. If Pakistan do not accept the Verdict, then Pakistan must give us Consular access .

In 1999, India had shot down a Pakistani military plane in the Indian airspace and when ICJ was approached, India said that it had no jurisdiction to hear the case. Pakistan may play the same "no authority" card in this case. As it is the tension between the two countries is at its peak.

Pakistan will act the way they want to. We will keep analysing their action and that will be the end of the matter. Priority is what government has done in last three years!!!

Pakistan is a lawless state with the ISI controlling almost all aspects of their economy. ISI takes orders from terror groups which is also a known fact and as far as ICJ is concerned, it has given India a short term relief and unless India takes steps to follow this through , Pakistan still has the upper hand since Kulbhushan Jhadav is in their custody , hopefully still alive !

BJP MP and former and former Home secretary, RK Singh said , it is quite possible that Kulbhushan Jadhav, who was sentenced to death by a  Pakistan Military court on charges of espionage is already dead.
