Is this job of election commission to ponder over the matter of so called 'Right to reject? It is alright for a voter sit at home and not vote. But what this means going to polling booth only to say that no candidate is okay. How funny will be if people decide that veg and non veg both food both are rejected, Indian and foreign dress both are rejected, Hindi and English both are rejected and so on. We vote for forming government and not for such silly things like right to reject.

The Election commission has stopped preparations for Kumb Mela. Is it okay to stop all administration for conducting elections. If there are casualties in Kumbh Mela owing to late preparation of arrangements by administration, will the state government or the election commission be held responsible?

I think what is being mulled over by th Election Commission is not without merit.A free choice is compromised within the choices made by political parties as is the practice now. If all th poltical parties of a particularly field candidates with questionable credentials what does a conscentious voter do?

Right to reject all candidates and parties defeats the purpose of holding elections. To elucidate, we have a choice between two major parties in Uttar Pradesh, namely Bahujan Samaj party led by Maya Vati and Bahujan Samaj Party led by Mulayam Singh. Besides there are other parties like Congress, BJP etc. ASt best, one may choose between BSP, SP, Congress and BJP. Any other type of vote will be meaningless because that way a government will not be formed.

The conscientious voters have the only remedy to actively participate in elections, join the political parties and attempt change. If they do not enter politics, the existing politicians- good or bad-will have their say. We cannot reject all just as we cannot reject all food, all clothes and all places.

If all these parties field history-sheeters as their candidates what does a voter do?

If all is bad, we are helpless. It is a fact that we participate in elections to get a government. We must get the best government possible. even a bad government would be better than no government or anarchy. People may change the political parties and state of affairs by active participation and not by just condemning everyone from a distance.

i feel that the people are propelled to vote where there is power in the power.

if people refuse to vote for them, then we are put under torture.

We cant stand it!

It is known to all that some government officers are politically connected. They do what they are asked to do. Many a times they don't follow the rules regulations and guidelines. Just to make their party win or make other party loose they do what they can breaking defying barriers of law.
As far as religious matters are concern, no political party or government body can stop festivals. This will give birth to mass agitation and civil war.
Regarding the rest, we have rights and freedom. Government can't deprive us from that.
Everybody is political minded and they often do such in political mind.
