Peahen is more beautiful than a peacock. I just love them. I wish to see them again and again. I have lust to see them.

Peahen
Not at all..
First picture displayed is white peacock...

Let me share a wonderful experience yesterday....
I saw a strange bird in trees nearby yesterday.....It's so beautiful......Long white tail and black body. am seeing such a bird for the first time :woohoo:   :silly: :silly:
Can anyone tell me what bird it is? It's almost the size of a crow, but a long tail.

Wow! Both the peacocks are really beautiful!

Devyani, the peahen is actually the female of the peacock and she does not possess this beautiful plumage, in fact she is quite ugly to look at!

@Sandhya, there is not enough description, if you could add a little bit more, only then we can tell you what type of bird that is!

I saw it just for a fraction of seconds...it was flying from one branch to another. It appeared as if it's a white ghost in that tree (as it was Sandhya ;) :silly: :silly:   )

Not in the list swetha :( :(

I saw it just for a moment or two
My hubby says it looks similar to a bird at zoo

let me tell you something about Cattle Egret....we call it Kokk and many proverbs are there.
It's a white beauty seen in paddy fields....In my past residence, during rainy season, 500 or more 'Kookk' used to come in group and it appears as if am watching some movie....so beautiful to see them flying uniformly in sky as a group.
Yesterday one came to backside of new residence...vavus took camera and was walking behind it to take a snap. here it is.....
